Personalization is Healthcare's Transformation

The future of healthcare is being defined by employees and patients as consumers whose needs and expectations must be met for the organization to succeed. But healthcare leadership has not been trained to practice personalization – failing to acknowledge the symbiotic relationship between the two and their impact on health outcomes.

1. Building Personalization Skills

  • Learn how to identify and remove operational and leadership barriers that limit people from contributing at their highest capacity
  • Better understand diversity of thought as a source of strength, and inclusion as a fuel for growth

  • Discover and gain clarity about how to utilize your leader’s full range of capacities, many that have never been unleashed and/or effectively utilized.

2.

2. Operationalizing Personalization

WHAT

Operationalizing personalization is the act of adapting the way an organization functions to make it more likely that people at all levels build the skills and have the tools to see and treat people as individuals.

HOW

GLLG has a roadmap for scaling the mindset and practices of personalization throughout an entire organization. We examine these five foundational truths and train leaders how to address these truths at the level of individuals and at the level of the organizational culture:

  • Individuals have value: they want to be included.
  • Individuals are worthy: they want to be seen in their full humanity.
  • Individuals are unique: they want to be themselves.
  • Individuals have experience and insight: they want to do more.
  • Individuals have ideas: they want to explore their possibility.

We guide leaders through an intensive process of assessing where people, teams, operating units and the organization may be holding people back – and we facilitate co-design activities where participants can make measurable, actionable change that will lead to organizational growth.

WHY

Those who participate learn:

  • Learn how to identify and remove operational and leadership barriers that limit people from contributing at their highest capacity
  • Better understand diversity of thought as a source of strength, and inclusion as a fuel for growth

  • Discover and gain clarity about how to utilize your leader’s full range of capacities, many that have never been unleashed and/or effectively utilized.
Tom Jackiewicz, President University of Chicago Medical Center/UChicago Medicine Health System

“Glenn is leading a national conversation that is long overdue. His passion for encouraging leaders to nurture individuality and unleash the power of connectedness is just what executives need to hear right now. In healthcare organizations, that means we must be much more focused on patients as individuals rather than making patients adapt to what is convenient for us.”

Tom Jackiewicz, President University of Chicago Medical Center/UChicago Medicine Health System

About GLLG

For more than 15 years, GLLG has been a pioneer in adaptive methodologies, helping Fortune 500 companies and healthcare providers design, develop and implement two critical growth strategies:

  • High-performance leaders, teams, and cultures focusing on inclusion and the power of individuality.
  • Align an organization’s business strategy with their talent capacities to scale disruptive growth

Through executive summits, intensive coaching, scalable training, proprietary assessments, and customized strategies for enterprise-wide deployment – GLLG helps healthcare leaders build systems that put ideas into action.

In 2019, GLLG started the Leadership in the Age of Personalization movement to help organizations and their leaders become more resilient and reinvention ready as the power of balance began to shift away from traditional institutions into the hands of individuals (i.e., employees, patients and consumers). A shift ignited by the limitations of old, outdated standardized ways of working, leading and conducting business that didn’t account for what mattered to employees, patients and consumers.
